Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries: a)464 River Road, Clifton NJ: Employees engaged in roof truss installation were exposed to crushing injuries due to the lack of top chord lateral bracing and diagonal bracing, on or about 10/05/2006. One feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, among other means would be for the company to follow the truss manufacturers BCSI-B2 SUMMARY SHEET on Truss Installation and Temporary Bracing.
