Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: Hardened steel pliers were used as hand feeding tools to place or remove materials in and from the dies of power presses and power press brakes. Malleable hand tools such as aluminum or other material softer than the machine tooling, fixtures, or other die space components were not provided or used.
