(a)Loading Dock - On May 19, 2005 employees were exposed to being struck by
trailer when truck is traveling in reverse to the loading dock. Trucks
backing into loading
dock did not have an observer, spotter or reverse signal alarm.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is: use a spotter
to safely direct the truck and trailer into the loading dock.
