Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls due to unbalanced load and struck-by the load. (a)Bank of New Albany - On or about June 12, 2007, two employees were exposed to fall hazards while working in an aerial lift carrying an over-hanging load and exposed to being struck-by the load if it contacted the building. Employees on the ground could be struck-by a falling load.
