recognized hazards
which were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in
that, employees
were exposed to fall hazards when standing on pallets that were being
raised by forklifts:
a)On or about January 9, 2006, and at times prior, employees accessed
elevated areas
using pallets that were being raised by the forks of forklifts.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazardous
condition would be to completely prohibit the practice of riding on
pallets, regardless of the
height which employees need to reach.
