seat belts by employees operating forklifts was not enforced, exposing
employees to crushing
injuries in the event of a forklift tip-over or other accident:
a) On or about May 17, 2006, and times prior, employees operated forklift
while not wearing
a seat belt exposing them to serious injuries in the event of a tip-over
or other accident.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to ensure that employees are trained regarding the hazards associated with
not
wearing seat belts
and to implement an active, effective enforcement policy.
