Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that:
a)Arts & Crafts Building - on or about June 9, 2006 - employees were
exposed to
a crushing hazard while engaged in the installation of bottom cord roof
trusses working
on scaffold platforms inside the building.  Proper bracing was not
installed to prevent a
collapse of these trusses.
AMONG OTHER MEANS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD OF
ABATEMENT FOR THIS CONDITION IS TO FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES FOR
INSTALLATION AS PROVIDED BY THE BCSI (BUILDING COMPONENT SAFETY
INFORMATION).
