Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment
which were free
from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or
serious physical harm
to employees in that employees were exposed to equipment roll over:
On 4/24/08 at Meadow Woods Country Club, Centralia, IL, Hole #4, employees
were
exposed to the hazard of equipment roll over when operating a Kubota MN
2D28F; SN
63628 zero turn commercial mower due to the roll over protective structure
(ROPS) not
being facilitated, among other methods, one feasible and acceptable
abatement method to
correct this hazardous condition would be to facilitate the ROPS as
described in the 'Kubota
Zero Turn Mower Models ZD18F, ZD21F, ZD28F Operator's Manual.'
Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the
requirements of 29
CFR 1903.19(d).
