Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1):  The employer did not furnish
employment
and a place of
employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees:
The employer failed to ensure the proper use of scissor lifts as follows:
(a)At the North end of the Multi-Use room, one employee was standing on
the mid
guardrail of a JLG scissor lift, elevated approximatelty 15 feet above
ground
level.  The employee was installing strapping for vent ducts.
(b)At the Kindergarten room, an employee was standing on the mid guardrail
of a
JLG scissor lift, elevated approximately 15 feet above the ground level.
The
employee was installing strapping for vent ducts.
Reference: ANSI A92.6 - 1990 Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms:
Section 8.10.1 Personnel Footing: Personnel shall maintain a firm footing
on the
platform floor while working thereon. Use of planks, ladders, or any other
devices on the platform for achieving additional height or reach shall be
prohibited.
One feasible means of abatement is to follow the requirements of ANSI
A92.6.ements
