Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling as follows: a.At the east side of the building, two employees, using a JLG E600 aerial lift at a height of approximately 15 to 20 feet, were observed working without fall protection and one employee was not tied off. Reference: ANSI/SIA A92.5-1992, Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms. Section 8.8: During operation. The aerial platform shall be used in accordance with this standard. Section 8.8(g): Ensure all personnel in the platform are wearing fall protection devices and other safety gear as required at all times. One method of abatement would be re-training of the employees in accordance with ANSI 92.5.
