September 20, 2006, an employee was fatally struck by a privately owned
vehicle while removing a paper joint from the center lane of the roadway.
Feasible and acceptable methods of abatement for this hazard include the
placement of signage and  traffic control devices to channelize vehicle
traffic
around the activity area as required in the Manual on Uniform Traffic
Control
Devices.
