Title 40.1-51.1.(a), Code of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: Two employees of New Vision General Contracting Inc. were injured when the roof trusses (50) collapsed during bracing of the trusses. The roof trusses that were installed were inadequately braced. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazard(s). " ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD, AMONG OTHERS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO FOLLOW THE YORK TRUSS BRACING PLAN FOR ROOF TRUSSES AS PROVIDED WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE TRUSSES.
