North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall to a lower level ref: para 5.15.1(k) ASME B56.6-1992: a)1775 East International Drive-three employees of a sub contractor were working in a work platform attached to a SKYTRAK 6036 all terrain fork lift, were not properly wearing fall protection, while working at an elevation of approximately 35 feet.(ref para 5.15.1(k) ASME B56.6-1992) One feasible means of abatement is to assure all employees exposed to falls properly utilize fall protection.

North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall to lower levels ref: para 5.15.1(u) ASME B56.6-1992: a)1775 East International Drive-an employee of the sub contractor was observed exiting the floor and protected area of the work platform attached to the forks of a SKYTRAK 6036 all terrain fork lift, and straddling the guard rail, 35 feet above the ground, and was improperly wearing fall protection. (ref: para 5.15.1(u) ASME B56.6-1992) One feasible means of abatement is to ensure all employees wear proper fall protection and remain inside the work station.
