North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and/or fall from hazards by working beneath of on top of improperly braced proch overhangs (eaves): a)jobsite, employees were exposed to struck-by and/or fall from hazards from working underneath or on top of improperly braced porch overhangs (eaves). NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this hazard is to add more 2x4's, 4x4's and/or 2x6's as temporary brace supports.
