Section 5 (a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause serious physical harm or death to employees On or about February 22, 2006, at the establishment, employees are allowed to ride in the bucket of Bobcat earthmovers and on grain-o-vator as they are being operated, exposing employees to the hazard of lacerations, bruises, fractures, and death. A feasible and acceptable method of correcting the hazard would be to follow the manufactures guidelines and not allow the employees to ride in or on the bucket of the Bobcat.
