Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm: On or about July 27, 2006, the employer did not ensure the emergency escape device (Geronimo Line) was securely anchored being capable of withstanding 3000 pounds of pulling force. The line was anchored with a 55-gallon drum filled with concrete weighing approximately 660 pounds laying on its side.g
