Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
The " Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional " was
previously cited for a
violation of this occupational safety and health standard 6(a) which was
contained in OSHA
inspection number 305828972, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on
July 28, 2005.
En la " Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional " fue
previamente citado por
una violacion de la Norma de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional 6(a) esta
incluida en la inspeccion
de OSHA numero 305828972, citacion numero 1, renglon numero 1, emitida el
28 de julio de
2005.
At Medical Area from the " Institution Correctional" in Arecibo, were
found the air conditioner
system damage, without air conditioner filters arranged where placed was
totally enclosure.
Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct their
hazard is that the
employer fix the air conditioner system and arrange the filters.
Riesgos: Employees were exposed to respiratory illnesses, asma and
bronchitis frequently.
En el Area Medica " Institucion Correccional" en Arecibo, se encontro el
sistema
acondicionador de aire danado sin los filtros del sistema acondicionador
de aire colocados,
cuando el lugar estaba totalmente cerrado.
Entre otros metodos un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir esos
riesgos es que el patrono
arregle el sistema acondicionador de aire y colocarle los filtros del
sistema acondicionador de
aire.
Hazards: Empleados estaban expuestos a enfermedades respiratorias, asma y
bronquitis
frecuentemente.
