Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
In the "Municipio de Manati- Oficina de Recreacion y Deportes" the
following conditions
were observed:
a)An air condition system damage.
b)Filtrations in the roof
Among others methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is that
the employer:
a) Repair the air condition system
b) Repair the roof to eliminate the filtrations.
En el Municipio de Manati- Oficina de Recreacion y Deportes las siguientes
condiciones
fueron observadas:
a) El sistema de aire acondicionado danado.
b) Filtraciones en el techo.
Entre otros metodos un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir esos
riesgos es que el
patrono:
a) Reparar el sistema de aire acondicionado
b) Reparar el techo para eliminar las filtracioneso

exposed to lack of knowledge of the handling of domestic violence
situations in the workplace:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a falta de conocimiento para el manejo de situaciones de violencia
domestica en su area de
trabajo:
At the "Municipio de Manati - Oficina de Recreacion y Deportes"  the
employer did not provide
training to each employee related to the written protocol for the handling
of domestic violence
in the workplace, as required by Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico
Occupational Safety and Health
Act, Act No. 16 of 1975 .
Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence
in the workplace.
Method to abate the hazard: Employers shall provide training to all the
employees related to its
written protocol for the handling of domestic violence in the workplace.
En el Municipio de Manati-Oficina de Recreacion y Deportes no proveyo
adiestramiento a sus
empleados relacionado a lo establecido en el protocolo escrito para el
manejo de violencia
domestica en el lugar de trabajo, como es requerido en la Seccion 6(a) del
la Ley de Seguridad
y Salud Ocupacional del 1975.
Riesgo:Victimas mortales, lesiones y enfermedades relacionadas con la
violencia domestica en
el lugar de trabajo.
Metodo para reducir el riesgo:El patrono debera proporcionar
adiestramiento a todos los
empleados en relacion con su protocolo escrito para el manejo de la
violencia domestica.
