Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
In the "Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados - Planta Regional de
Islote",
it was
observed that cover of the tanks were deteriorated and one of them
collapse when an
employee walk over the cover and fell into the tank at approximately 10
feet and 6 inches
deep due the peor maintenance and conditions of the cover.
Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct their
hazard is that
the employer replace the tops of the tank implement a system of inspection.

En la Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados-Planta Regional de Islote,
se observo
que las cubiertas de los tanques estaban deterioradas y una de ellas
colapso, cuando uno
de los empleados camino sobre la cubierta y el empleado se cayo dentro del
tanque a diez
pies y seis pulgadas de profundidad debido al poco mantenimiento y las
condiciones de
la cubierta.
Entre otros metodos un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir esos
riesgos es que el
patrono reemplace las tapas de los tanques e implementar un sistema de
inspection de las
mismas.
