Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to death in case of landslide by structural faults
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a  muerte en caso de derrumbes por fallas estructurales
At "Escuela Hector M. Ruiz Martinez" in Barceloneta had been structural
movements.
Movements have occasioned cracks and feasures on whole structure and the
plastering was
falling. One feasible and abatement method among other to correct the
potential hazards is make
a structural study for determine if the working area is safe for work.
En la Escuela Hector M. Ruiz Martinez de Barceloneta ha habido movimientos
en la estructura.
Los movimientos han ocasionado grietas y fisuras en toda la estructura y
el empanetado se esta
cayendo. Un metodo viable entre otros metodos que se pueden utilizar para
corregir los riesgos
potenciales es realizar un estudio estructural determinar si el area de
trabajo
es segura para los
empleados.
