Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to respiratory illnesses such as asma, bronchitis and allergies. Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a enfermedades respiratorias tales como: asma, bronquitis y alergias. Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional 384 was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or it equivalent Standard:Act 16 Seccion 6(a), which was contained in PR OSHA inspection number 309855203, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on December 29, 2009 At "Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional 384 (Area Socio Penal)" in Sabana Hoyos, were observed roof filtrations. Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct their hazard is that the employer seal cracks on the facilities roof. Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional 384 fue previamente citada por una violacisn de esta norma de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional o su norma equivalente: Ley 16 Seccion 6(a), la cual esta contenida en PR OSHA inspeccion numero 309855203, citacion numero 1, renglon numero 1, emitida el 29 de diciembre de 2009. En la "Administracion de Correccion - Institucion Correccional 384 (Area Socio Penal)" en Sabana Hoyos, se observaron filtraciones de techos. Entre otro metodo un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir esos riesgos es que el patrono selle las grietas en el techo de las facilidades.
