Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to slips
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a resbalones
The employees were exposed to slips and falls. In the room located on the
west side used
as a warehouse were observed in the roof leaks. Among other methods one
feasible and
available method to correct these hazards is to: that the employer seal
the
roof and
cracks.
Los empleados estaban expuestos a resbalones y caidas.  En el salon
localizado en el lado
oeste usado como almacen se observaron filtraciones en el techo. Entre
otros metodos,
un metodo disponible y apropiado para corregir este riesgo es: que el
patrono selle el
techo y las grietas.

violence in the workplace
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban
expuestos
a fatalidades, lesiones y enfermedades relacionadas a la violencia
domestica en el lugar de
trabajo
The Atenas Gyros did not have a written protocol to handle domestic
violence in the
workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to
Handle
Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act
No. 217
of 2006. Method to abate the hazard: Develop a written protocol to handle
domestic
violence in the workplace and provide training to all the employees.

El patrono Atenas Gyros no tenia un protocolo escrito para manejar la
violencia
domestica en el lugar de trabajo segun lo requerido en la Ley de
Implementacion
del
Protocolo de Manejo Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de
Trabajo o de
Empleo, Ley 217 de 2006. Un metodo para corregir el riesgo: Desarrollar un
protocolo
escrito para manejar la violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y
proveer un
adiestramiento a todos los empleados. Informacion se encuentra disponible
