estaban expuestos
a:
A.  Receive injuries due to that at the time of inspection at the
establishment Santiago
R.Palmer Elementary School, building, 1st..floor, northside, Componente
Fiscal office,
where the premises were used in whole or in part as a place of employment
for
Department of Education employees that performed office operations did not
comply
with
all the occupational safety and health regulations issued pursuant to this
act in that
employees were exposed to hazards and/or illnesses such as but not limited
to headaches,
eyes strains and/or aggravated lost of eyesight, due to:
1. Poor illumination levels, in the range of 2.4fc to 24fc when recomended
lighting levels
for office operations are in the range of 75fc to 150fc of luminescence,
as stated in
ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993 standars.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptabble abatement method to
correct these
hazards is to:
a. Make the appropiated repairs accordingly and expeditious to increase
the office
luminescence as stated in ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993 standards for office
lighting.
b.Relocated employees to a place free from these and other recognized
hazards.

Elemental Santiago R.Palmer, 1er..piso, lado norte, oficina Componente
Fiscal donde
las premisas usadas todo o en parte como un sitio de empleo por empleados
del
Departamento de Educacion que realizaron operaciones oficinezcas no
cumplio con todas
los regulaciones de seguridad y salud emitidas de acuerdo a esta ley; en
que los
empleados estaban expuestos a riesgos y/o enfermedades tales como pero no
limitados
a migranas, cansancio visual y/o perdida de vision agravada, debido a:
1. Niveles de iluminacion pobre, en los rangos de 2.4fc a 24fc cuando los
niveles de
iluminacion para operaciones de oficina son en el rango de 75fc a 150fc de
luminiscencia, segun establecido en los estandars ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y factible para corregir este
riesgo es:
a. Hacer las reparaciones requeridas y en forma expedita para aumentar la
luminiscencia
de la oficina segun se establece en los estandars de ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993
para
iluminacion en oficinas.
b.Reubicar los empleados a un area que este libre de estos y otros riesgos
reconocidos.

with all the occupational safety and health regulations issued pursuant to
this act in that
employees were exposed to hazards and/or illnesses such as but not limited
to cuts,
crushing, muscular strains and/or falls due to:
1. Excessive occupancy load and/or restricted egress access for office
work spaces, as
stated in the Uniform Building Code and Life Safety Code, NFPA 101-2003
standards.
The actual occupancy load for the space provided was 10 employees plus
occationally
visitors in an area of 720 square feet.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptabble abatement method to
correct these
hazards is to:
a.Make the appropiated modifications accordingly and expeditious to
increase the
of office space as stated in Uniform Building Code and Life Safety Code,
NFPA
101-2003 standards for office occupancy load. The applicables standards
requirements for this space are 7 employees, (including storage of records
and
accounts, exits accesses, and equipment).
b.Relocated employees to a place free from these and other recognized
hazards.

Fiscal donde
las premisas usadas todo o en parte como un sitio de empleo por empleados
del
Departamento de Educacion que realizaron operaciones oficinezcas no
cumplio con todas
los regulaciones de seguridad y salud emitidas de acuerdo a esta ley; en
que los
empleados estaban expuestos a riesgos y/o enfermedades tales como pero no
limitados
a cortaduras, aplastamientos, torceduras musculares y/o caidas debido a:
1. Cantidad de ocupacion excesiva y/o accesos de salidas restringidos para
espacios de
trabajo de officina, segun se establece en los estandars del Uniform
Building Code y en
el Life Safety Code, NFPA 101-2003 cantidad de ocupacion en oficinas. La
cantidad de
ocupacion actual para el espacio provisto es de 10 empleados mas
visitantess ocacionales
en un area de 720 pies cuadrados.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y factible para corregir este
riesgo es:
a.Hacer las modificaciones apropiadas en acuerdo y en forma expedita para
aumentar la
cantidad de espacio de ocupacion, segun se establece en los estandars del
Uniform
Building Code y el Life Safety Code, NFPA 101-2003 para cantidad de
espacio de
ocupacion en oficinas. Los requerimientos aplicables de los estandars para
este espacio
son de 7 empleados, (inclyendo almacenamiento de expedientes, accesos y
equipo).
b.Reubicar los empleados a un area que este libre de estos y otros riesgos
reconocidos.
