Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a. Receive serious injuries or illness due to employee exposure to
stress,insolation and
workplace violance while working.  day shift (8:00-5:00pm) in interior of
an automobile.
Among other methods a feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard
is to provide a defined safe work area (office) to protect the employee
from
weather
conditions, continuous gas exposition and irritability, among others.
a. Recibir lesiones serias o enfermedad debido a empleado expuesto a
"tension",
insolacion y violencia en el trabajo mientras trabajaba en turno de
(8:00-5:00pm) en el
interior de un automovil. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y
posible para corregir
este riesgo es proveer un area segura y definida de trabajo (oficina)
donde proteja al
empleado de las condiciones del tiempo, a la exposicion continua de gases
e irritabilidad,
entre otros.
