Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  At the Administracion de Correccion Fase-3 in the sector Las Cucharas,
Ponce.
Receive serious electrical burns due to that every time that there are
rain the employees
working in the electrical panel( of 277 to 283 volts),get wet because of
the water coming
from the ceiling of the control. Among other methods, one feasible and
acceptable
abatement method to correct this hazard is to seal the ceiling of the M
control.
a.  En la Administracion de Correccion-Fase-3,en el Sector las
Cucharas,Ponce. Recibir
quemaduras electricas serias debido a que cada vez que llueve los
empleados que operan
el panel de 277 a 283 voltios se mojan porque la agua le cae al panel y a
los empleados.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y factible para corregir este
riesgo es sellando
el techo del control M.

a.  Employer  Adminitracion de Correccion did not have a written protocol
to handle
domestic violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the
implementation of
a protocol to handle domestic violence situations in the workplace or
place of
employment,Act no.217 of 2006(for private and public employers except
municipalities).
Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence
in the
workplace.
Method to abate the hazard: Develop a written protocol to handle domestic
violence in
the workplace and provide training to all the employees. Information is
available at
the Women's Advocate Office, a guide for employers domestic violence in the
workplace and other references provided during the inspection.

manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo, como requerido por la
ley para la
implementacion de un protocolo para manejar situaciones de violencia
domestica en el
lugar de trabajo, ley #217 de 2006 (para patronos privados y publicos
excepto
municipios)
Riesgo: Fatalidades,lesiones y enfermedades relacionadas con violencia
domestica en
el lugar de trabajo.
Metodo para corregir el riesgo: Desarrollar un protocolo escrito para
manejar
violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a
todos los
