Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to that at the time of the inspection at the establishment DE- Escuela de Bellas Artes y Escuela Libre de Musica, employees performed operations and did not comply with all the occupational safety and health regulations issued pursuant to this act in that employees where exposed to hazards and/or illness such as but not limited to headache,eyes strains and/or aggravated lost of eyesight due to that there was poor illumination levels (in the range of 2-3fc) when recommended lighting levels for schools operations are in the range of 5-150fc of luminescense state in ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to: -Make the appropiate repair accordingly and expeditious to increase the school luminicenses as state in ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993 standards for schools lighting. a. Recibir lesiones debido a que al momento de la inspeccion en el establecimiento DE- Escuelas de Bellas Artes y Libre de Musica, empleados realizaban operaciones y no cumplio con todas las regulaciones de seguridad y salud ocupacional emitidas de acuerdo a esta ley en que los empleados estaban expuestos a riesgos y/o enfermedades tales como pero no limitadas a migranas, cansancio visual, y/o perdida de vision agravada,debido a niveles de iluminacion pobre (en los rangos de 2-3fc) de iluminacion cuando los niveles de iluminacion recomendados para operaciones de escuela son el rango de 5-150fc de luminicencia, segun establecido en los estandares del ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y factible para corregir este riesgo es: - Hacer las reparaciones requeridas y en forma expedita para aumentar la luminicescia de la escuela segun se establece en los estandares del ANSI/IESNA RP-1-1993 para iluminacion de escuelas.

Receive injuries due to that at the time of the inspection in various areas of the building of Escuela de Bellas Artes y Escuela Libre de Musica there were raised slabs in the floor that could cause employees trippings and falls. Among others methods one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazard is to: 1. To perform the repairs required in replace of slab. 2. To relocate the employees to an area that is free of this and other recognized hazards. a. Recibir lesiones debido a que al momento de la inspeccion en varias areas de la Escuela de Bellas Artes y Escuela Libre de Musica habian losas levantadas en el piso que podian causar tropezones y caidas de los empleados. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y factible para corregir este risgo es: 1. Hacer las reparaciones requeridas en reemplazo de losa de piso 2. Reubicar los empleados a un area que este libre de estos y otros riesgos reconocidos.
