Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to unevenness floor, (the holes are 2'x 1' and 3" inches deep; 3'x 2'and 2"deep and in many others side in all the floor(47 feet long x 35 feet wide). The employyes were exposed to tripping hazard, falls when doing their mechanical jobs in the workshop. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is fill up with concrete all the affected areas. a. Recibir lesiones debido a desniveles en el piso ( con huecos de 2'x 1' de 3"de profundidad. otro de 3'x 2'de 2"de profundidad y en otros muchos lugares en todo el piso (de 47 pies de largo x 35 pies de ancho). Los empleados estan expuestos a fracturas por tropezones y/ o caidas, mientras realizan sus labores de mecanica en el taller de mantenimiento. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es rellenar en cemento todas las areas afectadas.
