Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Cause serious injuries due to the lack of many tiles in two different areas of the kitchen of the students food court. There were six (6)employees cooking for the elementary school students ,the employees were exposed to trippings and falls. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install tiles in the areas that the tiles are missing. . a. Recibir lesiones serias a la falta de losas en el piso del area de cocinar alimentos del comedor escolar. Habian seis(6) empleados del comedor que tienen que moverse por las areas donde no tienen losas y estan expuestos a tropezar y caerse al piso. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es poner nuevas losas en donde faltan.
