29 CFR 1926.550(a)(16): Modifications or additions which affected the capacity or safe operation of the equipment were made without the manufacturer's written approval: a. At the construction area,installation of a sanitary pipeline along the Santiago de los Caballeros 's Avenue. It was observed a truck crane Trademark Link Belt- model HC 238 used to install the pipe and manholes into the excavation. This crane a safety latch on its hook. One feasible method to correct this hazard could be among others to install the safety latch at its hook. Hazard: Load could fall. a. En area de la construccion, instalacion de una tuberia sanitaria a lo largo de la Avenida Santiago de Los Caballeros. Fue observado una grua camion marca Link-Belt modelo HC-238 usada para instalar los tubos y "manholes" dentro la excavacion. Esta grua no tenia el seguro de seguridad en su gancho. Un metodo factible para corregir este riesgo podria se entre otros instalar el seguro de seguridad en su gancho. Riesgo: La carga podria caerse.
