El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries such as: fracture, amputation, etc. due to absence of
the door
safety switch cardboard compactor used by employees, trademark McClain,
Serial#
not visible. The compactor was located in the storage area #1. Among
others method,
one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is not
used
the
cardboard until the deffect was correct.
a. Recibir lesiones tales como: fractura, amputacion, etc., debido
ausencia del
interruptor de seguridad de puerta de compactadora de carton utilizado por
los
empleados, marca McClain, Serie# no visible. La compactadora estaba
localizada en
el area de almacen #1. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible
de
corregir este riesgo es no usar la compactadora de carton hasta que el
defecto se haya
corregido.

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries as freezing or circulatory problems due to absence of
device to
open the door from the inside in the refrigerator (temperature 46 degrees
centigrade)
and freezer(temperature 22 degrees centigrade) used by employees. The
refrigerator
and freezer were located in the storage area #3. Among other methods, an
acceptable
and feasible method to correct this hazard is a device placed at the door
so that it can
be opened from inside.
a. Recibir lesiones como la congelacion o problemas circulatorios debido a
la ausencia
de dispositivo para abrir la puerta desde el interior en la nevera
(temperatura 46
grados centigrados) y congelador (temperatura 22 grados centigrados)
utilizado por los
empleados. La nevera y el congelador estaban localizados en el area de
almacen #3.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible de corregir este riesgo
es
colocarle un dispositivo a la puerta para que pueda ser abierta desde
adentro.

estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Employer Francisco Rivera Inc. dba Comercio Cash & Carry-II did not
have a
written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace, as required
by the Act
for the implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence
Situations in the
Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No.217 of 2006 (for private and
public
employers, except municipalities).
Hazard:  Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence
in the
workplace.
Method to abate the hazard:  Develop a written protocol to handle domestic
violence
in the workplace and provided training to all employees. Information is
available at
the Women's Advocate Office. A guide for Employers: Domestic Violence in
the
Workplace and others references provided during the inspection.
a.  El patrono Francisco Rivera Inc. dba Comercio Cash & Carry-II no tenia
un
protocolo escrito para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo,
como es
requerido por la Ley para la Implementacion de un protocolo para manejar
Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de Trabajo, Ley No. 217 de
2006
(para patronos privados y publicos, excepto municipios).
Riesgo:  Fatalidades, lesiones, y enfermedades relacionadas con violencia
domestica
en el lugar de trabajo.
Metodo para corregir el riesgo:  Desarrollar un protocolo escrito para
manejar
violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a
todos los
empleados. La informacion esta disponible en la Oficina de la Procuradora
de las
Mujeres, Una Guia para Patronos: Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de
Trabajo y
otras referencias provistas durante la inspeccion.
