September 18, 2007 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to
potential truss collapse in that they were working under and around roof
trusses that had not been diagonally braced.
Abatement Note:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement
method to correct this hazard would be to follow the Guide for Handling,
Installing,
and Bracing of Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses as prescribed by the Wood
Truss Council of America and Truss Plate Institute's "Building Component
Safety
Information" Summary Sheet BCSI-B1.
