Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On or about 06/27/06 in the garbage transfer area; where employees were riding in the bucket of a Caterpillar front end loader (Model 966G; serial #: CAT0966GVANZ00578) while getting on and off the pickers at lunch and breaks. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO DRIVE OFF THE GARBAGE PILE WHEN EXITING THE PICKERS DURING LUNCH AND BREAKS. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIREDATION
