North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Ref: American National Standard (ANSI) A92.5-1980 para 13.2.6 a)site - employees working from the bucket of a articulating boom manufactured by Genie were not tied off to prevent falling. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to retrain employees in safe operation of articulating booms while working at heights and enforce training.ing
