Condition:An employee was exposed to the hazard of being crushed by a
moving truck, while
positioned upon a liftgate that was designed for lifting and lowering
cargo, only
prohibiting the platform to be occupied by personnel while the truck was
in motion.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard would be to utilize
equipment that is designed for the placement and removal of traffic
control cones.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training
certification, etc.)
is required for this item.
