Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: On April 20, 2006, a subcontractor employee was exposed to crushing hazards because the employer did not ensure the subcontractor employee used a scaffold or work platform while demolishing the dooryway opening. This violation caused or contributed to the fatality of an employee.
