Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that, employees were exposed to hazards from projectiles during performances involving shooting: a) Establishment The employer exposed employees to a hazard of being struck by bullets or projectiles when firearms were used by employees reenacting shootouts. Violation disclosed on or about 7/10/06. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to appoint an armorer/safety officer who inspects and distributes all firearms and ammunition for everyone on site for every performance/show.0 0 $y 0 T
