North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)Water Treatment Room: The exterior wooden stairs leading from the pool deck down to the Water Treatment Room are visibly deteriorated with cracked boards and protruding nails. NOTE:Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to replace the deteriorated stairs with a new wooden or metal stairway.ted
