Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to possible crushing hazards: On or about 02/07/07, the employer failed to ensure that an 11'-9" by 60'-0" truss roof was adequately supported to prevent it from collapsing on workers. Among other methods, a feasible means of abatement would be; 1) Properly support or diagonal brace the roof columns and end walls to keep them from shifting and collapsing.
