On or about 8/8/06, an employee was exposed to serious struck-by hazards
while
walking/working in close proximity to an improperly used roof roll
carrier.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means to correct this
hazard would
be:  Follow and ensure the safety precautions, job set up and operating
instructions listed
in the Garlock E-Z Roll Carrier Operator's Instruction Manual, revised
May, 1998.
Ensure that all users are properly trained in the safe use of the roll
carrier.
