Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:
The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a
place
of employment
which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to
cause death or serious
physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a
struck-by/crushing and
drowning hazards:
On or about 01/09/07, at the Bonaventure Country Club, employees were
exposed to struck-
by/crushing, and drowning hazards when operating a truck mower on steep
slopes near bodies
of water without wearing the equipment's seat belt.
Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to
correct the hazards
is to ensure employees are wearing the seat belt on this type of equipment
by enforcing safety
on the job site.

REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
