ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is:
a.) Establish restricted areas at the face of all bunker silos (i.e.
fencing off the areas and posting
warning signs with an appropriate message.
b.) Establish and implement safe work practices regarding equipment
operation, proper silage
removal techniques, instructing equipment operators to remain in the
front-end loaders, etc., and
safe feed sampling procedures.
