Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a potential dust explosion hazard that could have resulted from or been exacerbated by the failure to locate dust collectors that collect combustible dust outside of the building and failure to provide metallic ductwork: (a) The Coral FM dust collector which collects dusts that are potentially explosive was located inside the building in the main production area, on or about February 26, 2007. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED ABATEMENT NOTE: One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazards includes following NFPA 664 Standard for the Prevention of Fires and Explosions in Wood Processing and Woodworking Facilities: (a) Relocate the dust collector outside or as required by paragraph 8.2.2.5.1.4 of NFPA 664;
