Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On or about August 3rd, 2006 at the Chung's Gourmet Foods on Dennis Street, where the discharge from pressure-relief devices to the atmosphere was less than 20 ft from the ventilation intake, and personnel exit, and was less than 15 feet above the roof level. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method is to move the pressure relief stack more than 20 feet from the personnel exit, and more than 15 feet above the roof level. b) On or about August 3rd, 2006, at the Chung's Gourmet Foods on Dennis Street, where the emergency remote controls to stop the action of the refrigerating compressors were not provided and located immediately outside of the compressor unit. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method is to provide remote shut off switches to stop the action of the refrigerating compressors.g
