on the water heater
in the office which was pointed toward the door on the North side of the
office and b) the relief
valve on the water heater in the bath room in the bunk house were not
plumbed to divert, away
from employees, the stream of hot water and/or steam that would be
released in the event of a
water heater malfunction.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to have the relief valves plumbed with appropriate pipe to divert the
stream of hot water and/or
steam that would be released in the event of a water heater malfunction.
