Wash area,
employees were exposed to fire hazards when flammable vapor, from a
tanker(s) that
previously contained gasoline, a Class I flammable liquid, was purged into
the work
area.
Among other methods, one feasible method to control exposure to these
hazards include,
but is not limited to the following:  Develop and implement written
procedures for the
degassing of tank trucks containing flammable and combustible materials to
eliminate
the
hazards associated with this operation.
