Killeen, Texas:
Employees were potentially exposed to falls of up to 14 feet to the ground
below from the work
platform, attached to the JLG RSC Rough Terrain forklift, which was wider
than the overall
width of the truck plus 10 inches on either side.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means to abate this
hazard is to use a work
platform that is designed in accordance with American Society of
Mechanical Engineers
ANSI/ASME B56.6-2002, Safety Standards for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks.
