North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an oven that had flamed into an employees face causing burn injuries. : a)store-on or about 11/27/06, a Vulcan model 36L/VG30 stove/oven, failed to properly light and caused injury to an employee, and was not taken out of service until a cause for the malfunction was found and corrected. (ref: the malfunction of the piece of equipment). One feasible means of abatement is to have the equipment checked out by an authorized service person and correct any discrepancies. 0 0 ,y 0 \
