North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by/caught in. [Ref: CME-45 Drill Rig Operating and Maintenance Instructions American a)site - employees operating a CME-45C Drill Rig serial number 282974 and three of the five emergency shut off switches that the manufactured provided and stated in the manufacturers Operating and Maintenance instructions were required. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to repair the switches that are not working and test daily as the manufacturer requires.rer
