Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:10/13/06 Location:South Side of Building, South Portico Condition:The employer did not follow the manufacturer's truss erection plan in installing and erecting a manufactured metal plate connected wood roof truss system. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to precisely follow the truss erection plan, including interim and final diagonal bracing, provided as a package to the employer by the truss manufacturer.
