Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) In the reconditioning department of Fritz Chevrolet for employees working around and under the 1 Bend Park two-post auto lift where the annual inspection, preventative to follow the requirements of ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000 and ANSI B153.1 which include, among other requirements, the following: 1.Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program according to the manufacturer's specifications. 2.Schedule and complete all periodic and annual inspections. 3.Provide employee training on the proper safe use and care of auto lifts. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement Certification Letter").tion
